Classes and Events
The 2025 Studio Q Sock Society is a subscription based sock yarn club. On the 5th of every month, you will receive a skein of hand dyed sock yarn by Studio Q, exclusive yarn line for Quintessential Knits.
The 2025 Sock Subscription is an Art Inspired theme and includes:
1 - 75/25 SWMerino/ Nylon 4 ply sock yarn 463 yds/100g skein OR
1- 75/25 SW Merino/Nylon 4 ply DK yarn 245 yds/100g.
You choose at checkout. The subscription is for three months, April - June, and can be renewed for another three month period.
Beginning Spinning

Our Instructor Barbara Seeler will teach you the properties of fiber and how to apply that to spinning. You will begin on a drop spindle. Once you are comfortable with how fiber works you can take the wheel class. These are very informative classes and Barbara is a joy to learn from! Spindle, and Fiber are provided.

Learn to Spin - Beginning Wheel
If you have already taken the drop spindle class and would like to take your spinning to the wheel, this class is for you. Barbara Seeler is the instructor for this class. She has many years of experience and has helped many people learn to spin. She always makes the class fun to learn for all learning styles.
